Details:
- Important notes: Wow, we haven't seen one of these in a VERY long time! We are pleased to present this incredibly rare 1967 Rickenbacker 330S / Model 1997 finished in original Fireglo. The "Rose Morris" name originates from the fact that in the 1960s, Rickenbacker built special "S" (Special) variations of their guitars to export to the UK via the British distributor Rose, Morris. Under the Rose, Morris numbering system, the modified 330 body style was designated as the Model 1997. These Rose Morris models had 1) the traditional open "F-hole" instead of the standard Rickenbacker slash hole and 2) a trapeze or Accent vibrato tailpiece instead of the "R" tailpiece. The guitar is all original save for the replaced tuners; the originals are included on the side and the holes have been patched up and the back of the headstock was refinished during the tuner-replacement job.
