Details:

 - Important notes: the lightest but also one of the most beautiful 1963 teles we've ever had in our shop! We are pleased to present this 6.9LB, 1963 Fender Telecaster which remains all original save for an ancient professional body-only nitro refinish and professional refret. This stunning pre-CBS tele was brought to us by the owner's daughter, who was certain that the guitar was all original. Her father owned the guitar since 1967 and bought it in its current transparent crimson red finish, which to us, looks very similar to George Harrison's famously refinished Lucy 57' Les Paul. Though the guitar's finish glows under blacklight like it is indeed 100% original; the body must have been refinished sometime between 63' and 67' since Fender did not offer this finish in 1963 and the guitar's Ash body would typically be mated with a translucent blonde finish from the factory instead.

- Finish: : "Lucy" Red, nitro, refinished from Blonde sometime between 1963 and 1967

- Date(s): mid-1963 (Aug 63' neck date, pots dated 29th week of 63', L17XXX serial number)

- Body Material: lightweight figured Ash

- Neck Material: lightweight Maple

- Fretboard Material: beautiful, dark and naturally-oily Brazilian Rosewood!

- Weight: 6.9LB!

- Hardware & Plastics: All original save for a professional refret (original switch tip is included on the side)!

- Included: hard shell case and switch tip!
