 - Important notes: we are pleased to present this killer player-grade 1956 Fender Duo Sonic. The guitar was originally Desert Sand, then was refinished black before being stripped to natural. The guitar was previously routed for extra switches under the pickguard; hence the plugged holes in the original stripped pickguard (that used to be anodized gold). The electronics are all original save for one replaced pot. The guitar is very lightweight and resonant; weighing in at just 6.1LB. The neck is classic late 56 V-Shape and it has been professioanlly refretted. The guitar turns 70 years old this year and she is ready to be played and loved for another 70!
