Details:
- Important notes: the lightest ES-295 we've ever had in our shop, weighing in at 5.6LB! This one did puzzle us... it's a very clean 1953 ES-295 in a very rare Sunburst finish. The guitar has factory nickel hardware (original tuners are included on the side), stock for a Sunburst guitar. The guitar's finish blacklights like an original example, but the pickguard screw hole is filled with paint and the red paint is too vibrant to be correct for a 50's Sunburst. Based on this, we suspect that this is most likely a 60's factory refinish. Hence why we are pricing this piece as a professionally refinished example. A jackplate has been added and the guitar has been refretted.
